Premessa:
Considerata la rilevanza dell’iniziativa per i numerosi turisti e residenti stranieri presenti a Monopoli durante la stagione estiva, l’unità pastorale della Cattedrale ha istituito per Luglio e Agosto una santa messa in lingua inglese alle 19:30 di ogni domenica nella chiesa di San Francesco d’Assisi.
Tv Puglia, per poter comunicare questa importante novità ai turisti, ha scelto di pubblicare eccezionalmente questo articolo in lingua inglese, affinché possa raggiungere il più ampio pubblico internazionale e offrire un servizio informativo utile ai visitatori della città.
Throughout July and August, an English-language Holy Mass will be celebrated every Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Monopoli.
The initiative has been introduced to welcome the many international visitors and English-speaking residents who choose Monopoli as their summer destination, offering them the opportunity to take part in the Catholic liturgy and remain connected to their faith while away from home.
The celebration reflects the city’s commitment to hospitality and inclusion, providing a meaningful occasion for prayer, fellowship and spiritual reflection in a welcoming environment open to everyone.
The Mass will be celebrated by Father Gaetano Amore, who will guide the congregation in a shared experience of faith, bringing together people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds through the universal message of the Gospel.
The weekly appointment will take place every Sunday in July and August at 7:30 p.m. at St. Francis Church in Monopoli.
